Author Sarah K. Jensen

As a Southern girl, born and raised, most of Sarah K. Jensen’s novels take place in the south, where southern hospitality is a way of life that she wishes others to experience. In the south, people take care of each other. When bad things happen, and bad things happen to good people, Sarah believes it’s important to rally behind those effected and to add your strength to theirs. It’s just plain Christ-like.

Though many of her novels start in dark places, they always end with the knowledge that there is light in the world.

“My novels are not always easy reading. I know that Satan wants to stop us from being the people God wants us to be. That being said, many people live in darkness, wondering if there is any good left in the world. My novels take dark situations and show people how they can come through those dark times and find light, if they are willing to look for it and to then share their light with others. We can choose to find God’s light within us.”

As a Christian, Sarah believes that she is duty bound to serve others. She not only tries to serve through her novels, but also in her business as an essential oil expert, business coach, as a public speaker, and as a P.E.R.F.E.C.T. Healing Coach, where Sarah teaches tools and techniques that help individuals turn troubles over to the Lord.

She now lives in Utah with her wonderfully smart and sexy husband and her four almost perfect kids. (Okay, they aren’t perfect, but they are pretty darn amazing.) She loves small town life and the joys of knowing her neighbors and of them knowing her. Sarah is an avid reader, loves spending time with her family, loves the mountains, the ocean, and tress, and has a huge soft spot for big dogs. She loves the Savior and her Father in Heaven and always strives to keep the commandments of God. She loves working with the youth in church and the schools.

At nineteen, Bailey Quinn married for love, saying “I do” to her very own Prince Charming with killer looks. She soon realizes love has nothing to do with her marriage.

After six years of living in hell, Bailey is left with the choice; stay and die, or leave.

Killian St. John promised his best friend, former SEAL Teammate, that he’d watch out for his sister if ever she needs help. Now back in the states, Killian answers her call for help when she learns her husband isn’t just a wife beater, he’s a killer.

Determined to protect her, Killian takes her on the run while helping the FBI locate Roy, Bailey’s soon-to-be ex. However, he never expected to fall in love with his friend’s married sister. Nor did he expect to learn that he and Bailey are connected in a way that just might destroy him.

While Killian comes to terms with his feelings, Bailey is learning that happiness is a choice and for the last six years she’d given her agency away.

Today, she takes back her life.

Great book that brings up several aspects of life that I’ve never experienced. Loved how faith was brought in to the story. Fast paced with plenty of action and tension and of course a love story to keep me hanging on.

Dark, but full of Hope November 9, 2016
This is a seriously intense story that illustrates some great truths. It has opened my eyes and made me more aware of the intricacies of domestic violence. The subject matter is dark, but the feeling is hopeful. I have been using the techniques in the book to help with some of the anxieties that come up in my life. She is an inspired writer and I’m eagerly anticipating her next book.
