It’s so satisfying to pick food from your own garden and be able to eat it fresh! With the zucchini and squash I cooked a delicious soup. (Recipe below) And with the spinach, lettuce, cucumber, and tomato, I had a great salad.
1 large onion
5-7 cloves of garlic
1 tbs. Redmond Real Salt
1 tbs. Adams Fajita Seasoning OR 1 tbs. Redmond Season Salt
3 tbs. Better Than Bouillon, Chicken flavor
Chop zucchini, squash, potatoes, and onion into bit sized pieces. (This can be done in advance and refrigerated or frozen.)
In a large pot, add all chopped veggies and fill with water to cover the vegetables. Mince your garlic and add to pot. Add the Better Than Bouillon, salt, and seasoning once it’s boiling.
This takes about 34-40 minutes to cook. (Just check the potatoes with a fork to make sure they’re done.)
